About this animal protector
Give Me Shelter Project is a nonprofit animal rescue, education and advocacy group. Its cats generally live in foster homes. The map identifies its permanent partner adoption space inside PetSmart at 1600 Marcus Avenue in North New Hyde Park, New York, where several of its adoptable cats are housed. The group also supports trap-neuter-return and helps cats who have difficulty finding adopters through Conner’s Cause.
Services and ways to connect
Contact givemeshelterproject@gmail.com or call 917-410-5900; the voicemail is checked periodically. You may meet the cats housed at the partner store, but adoption requires an application, telephone interview, home visit and signed agreement. The rescue arranges delivery after approval and provides follow-up support. Adopted cats receive veterinary care, sterilization, vaccinations, FIV/FeLV testing and a registered microchip. Confirm current fees and arrangements. This space is not an independent shelter or an animal surrender/drop-off service; the Northern Boulevard address is for mail.
