Animal Protech uses data submitted through the website, the AnimalProtech Android app, and authenticated areas to operate the map, review animal-rescue suggestions, keep public pages accurate, and protect account and administration access.
Data you send
Suggestions, contributions, and messages may include an animal rescuer or organization name, location, public links, additional context, and authenticated account data such as user ID and email. This information is used to review, approve, reject, or correct directory records.
App sign-in
The AnimalProtech app uses Google sign-in or an email magic link through Supabase Auth. When you sign in, we process the data required to keep the session active, identify the user, and associate app suggestions with the authenticated account.
Technical data
We may process technical access information such as IP address, request times, browser, device, operating system, API responses, logs, and usage limits. This data helps maintain security, stability, abuse prevention, and map functionality.
Services used
Platform operation may involve services such as Google for sign-in, Supabase for authentication and database, transactional email providers, hosting services, and OpenStreetMap for map display. These services may receive technical data required to perform their functions.
Publication
Only information suitable for public lookup should appear on animal-rescuer, rescue-organization, and shelter pages. Account data, internal review information, and access control remain restricted to authenticated areas.
Account deletion
Authenticated users can start deletion in the app from Menu, Account, Delete account, or in the web dashboard from Account, Delete my account. When the account is deleted, pending or rejected suggestions are removed. Approved suggestions may remain published in the directory, but they are disconnected from the user and account email.
